The air conditioner wasn't working on the second day.

The location was amazin, right by the port with a great view. We had a balcony which was perfect for chillin and watchin people go by. Super clean and comfy, wifi was good too. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they let us leave our bags while we explored. Perfect spot to enjoy the local vibe!

The room felt a bit dated and the shower was super small. It was kinda cold in the room during the night.

The building's age definitely shows, with some rooms carrying a musty smell that can make it uncomfortable, especially at night when you need to open the windows for air. The steep stairs can be a hassle with luggage, and the small room sizes, especially for extended stays, might feel cramped, lacking sufficient storage for a week-long visit. There are also issues with bathroom fittings that need attention, impacting overall comfort while staying.

Villa Venezia is a lovely cosy hotel conveniently located on the harbour front in Chania with a huge range of restaurants and bars nearby and only 10 mins walk from the bus station.The friendly staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will definitely come here again!

The fine sea views were a highlight, especially when we visited nearby fishing spots. The owner was helpful. Clean rooms and daily tidy-ups ensured comfort. I'd recommend asking for a seaview room for the best experience.

The only downside was the steep wooden stairs, which could be a bit tricky when carrying luggage.

i came here for 1 night and had a very pleasant stay. the hotel was atmospheric and quirky, and the staff were very friendly, enjoyed the best possible location really close to centre of venetian harbour in an original building, all the restaurants, and the picturesque old town. the rooms were modern with all necessary facilities, felt like home.

Steep stairs led to a spacious room with a lovely city view, which, despite minor privacy concerns from an adjoining window, was generally comfortable. The absence of tea or coffee making supplies was disappointing, though I enjoyed the homemade pies offered at breakfast. While some areas need updating, the overall cleanliness and hospitality were commendable.

A Cozy Retreat with Fine Views!

Loved the wonderful sea view from our studio! The location was perfect for exploring Chania, and we really enjoyed the local restaurant behind the villa in the old Turkish bathhouse- a culinary highlight! Be sure to take the early check-in option if you arrive before time!
